Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in Missouri is hiring a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, and deliver patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, document findings, coordinate with care teams, administer medications, and support discharge planning in a high-volume environment. The role includes a day shift with weekend rotation and a sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Missouri.
• Ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessments and plan patient care.
• Strong documentation and communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive nursing assessment/reassessment.
• Documents findings accurately and completely.
• Educes and documents discharge needs of patient and family.
• Administers medications and monitors IV fluids per policy.
• Coordinates daily plan of care with health team members and ensures proper handoffs.
• Provides patient/family education and participates in discharge planning.
