Job summary

Alpine Way is seeking a Community Driver to transport residents to medical appointments, stores, banks, scenic drives and social events while ensuring comfort and safety. You will perform routine vehicle maintenance and cultivate relationships with residents, family members and staff in the Life Enrichment Department.

Weekend and holiday shifts are required; a Food Workers Card is needed, and CDL may be necessary for driving a large bus.

As aCommunity Driver with Alpine Way, as part of the Life Enrichment Department you’re responsible for transporting our residents to a variety of locations and ensuring that their ride with you is as comfortable as possible.

What we look for in a Community Driver:

• If operating a large bus of sixteen or more passengers, must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL)

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred

• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time

• Compassionate individuals with a positive attitude, willing to offer physical assistance as needed

• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families

• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

What you can expect to do as a Community Driver:
