Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Community Driver to transport residents to appointments, stores, and social events, while ensuring comfort and safety. You will build relationships with residents, families and staff, and assist with light vehicle maintenance as needed.

This part-time role requires weekend availability and a compassionate, dependable attitude. A valid driver’s license and Food Workers Card are required; benefits include health insurance eligibility, a 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from medical appointments, stores, banks, scenic drives and social events.
• Perform or assist in routine preventive maintenance on the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.

As aCommunity Driver with Spring Valley, you are a part of the Life Enrichment Department. You’re responsible for transporting our residents to a variety of locations and ensuring that their ride with you is as comfortable as possible.

What we look for in a Community Driver:

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred

• Current and valid driver's license

• Dependable when it comes to showing up on time

• Compassionate individuals with a positive attitude, willing to offer physical assistance as needed

• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families

• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

What you can expect to do as a Community Driver:

• Transport residents to and from various locations, i.e., medical appointments, stores, banks, scenic drives and social events

• Perform or assist in routine preventive maintenance procedures on the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer

• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff Inform the Life

Required Certifications:

• Valid and active Driver's License

• Food Workers Card

$16.00 - $18.00/hour
