Job summary

Emanate Health is seeking a Financial Navigation specialist to help mobile clinic patients understand, apply for, and maintain public benefits including Medi-Cal, Covered California, CalFresh, and SSI/SSDI. You will provide on-site education, navigation, and follow-up support to reduce barriers to care.

You must be willing to travel to multiple sites and communicate clearly with diverse communities, often in Spanish-speaking contexts; bilingual candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience assisting individuals with public benefits or enrollment.
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Covered California, CalFresh, SSI/SSDI, and local assistance programs preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Basic computer/data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports mobile clinic patients by helping them understand, apply for, and maintain financial assistance, insurance coverage, and public benefits.
• Reduce financial barriers to care by providing on-site navigation, education, and follow-up support in community settings.
• Must be willing and able to travel to multiple sites.
