Job summary

Key Staffing, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Community Engagement Navigator to help members enroll in and maintain Medi-Cal coverage in California.

The role involves assisting members in person and over the phone with renewal applications, eligibility documentation, and questions about their health coverage. The navigator will schedule appointments, review and submit required documents, and coordinate with government agencies and community partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of customer service experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable assisting diverse populations in person and over the phone.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with completing Medi-Cal enrollment and renewal applications.
• Review, prepare, and help submit documents required to maintain eligibility.
• Schedule one-on-one appointments and follow up to ensure applications are completed.
• Explain the renewal process, answer questions, and help resolve enrollment concerns.
• Update member contact information, demographic records, and encounter notes in databases and spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with government agencies and community partners to support members.
• Support community outreach activities and assist with training new navigators.
• Prepare weekly activity reports and monthly summaries of enrollment assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member information.
• Report member concerns and recommend improvements to the supervisor.
