Job summary

Devereux Pocono Center is seeking a Behavior Consultant (Independent Contractor) to design and direct individualized behavior intervention plans for children and adolescents, delivered in community settings across NEPA. The role emphasizes CASSP-based, family-centered treatment and supports IBHS services.

The position requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, clinical documentation, and travel to site visits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health with ABA certification or equivalent in behavioral management.
• Another degree with at least 12 credits in behavior management and 1 year supervised treatment experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborates with treatment team to apply least restrictive behavioral change methods.
• Develops treatment plans and short-term goals for identified child/adolescent.
• Provides assessments of strengths and needs of assigned children and families.
• Maintains clinical records and documentation of progress.
• Performs duties related to ISPT meetings and continuity of care.
• Gathers information to assess plan effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Travels to site visits and emergencies as required.
