Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health's Pocono Center seeks a Behavior Consultant to design and direct individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and adolescents, emphasizing CASSP-based family involvement. Responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, documenting progress, and ensuring confidentiality and mandated reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s in mental health with ABA or equivalent behavioral management training.
• Alternative degree with 12 behavior credits plus 1 year supervised experience in behavior interventions.

Responsibilities

• Design and direct implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborate with treatment team to tailor plans to child/adolescent and family needs.
• Identify goals and techniques; propose least restrictive behavior changes.
• Develop discharge criteria and plan for identified cases.
• Provide assessments and document therapeutic progress; maintain records.
• Travel to site visits and participate in ISPT meetings and coverage in emergencies.
