Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks a Behavior Consultant at the Pocono Center to design and direct individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and adolescents and to support families in CASSP-aligned services.

This Independent Contractor role involves delivering services in the community across NEPA counties, with flexible scheduling and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Mental Health Master’s Degree with certification in ABA or other behavioral management OR
• Other degree with 12 credits in behavior management AND 1 year experience providing clinically supervised treatment to children AND 1 year experience with behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in behavioral management protocols.
• Collaborates with treatment team to design and implement individualized behavior plans.
• Identifies goals and least restrictive intervention methods.
• Develops discharge planning criteria and treatment goals.
• Provides assessments of needs for children and families.
• Maintains written documentation and clinical records; submits billing documentation as needed.
• Travels to site visits and emergency coverage as required.

Education

Master's Degree with ABA certification
