Job summary

TeamBuilders in Taos, NM is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. You will deliver community-based psychiatric nursing services to adults with serious mental illness, helping them achieve stability and independence.

This role offers a chance to work outside a traditional clinic setting and make a direct impact in the local community, with opportunities for supervision, training, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico.
• 1–2 years direct care for psychiatric disorders.
• Willingness to obtain CPI certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing in community settings (home, field, office).
• Administer medications incl. long-acting injectables; monitor effects.
• Perform health assessments and wellness checks.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, therapy, case management.
• Assist with crisis intervention and client stabilization.
• Educate clients and families on meds and health management.
• Complete timely/documentation.
