TeamBuilders in Taos, NM is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. You will provide community-based psychiatric nursing services to adults with serious mental illness, helping them achieve stability and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico.
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and side effects.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing care in community-based settings (home visits, field work, office).
• Administer medications, including long-acting injectables, and monitor effectiveness.
• Conduct health assessments and ongoing wellness checks.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatry, therapy, case management).
• Assist with crisis intervention and client stabilization.
• Educate clients and families on medication and health management.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
