Job summary

Monadnock Family Services is seeking an ACT Team Psychiatric Nurse to contribute to a client-centered, recovery-oriented mental health program in Keene, NH. The role includes medication management with the psychiatrist and participation in a multidisciplinary ACT team to deliver comprehensive care.

The nurse will perform psychiatric assessments, evaluate physical health needs, and coordinate referrals to community physicians while providing psychosocial rehabilitation and team support services.

Qualifications

• Master’s, B.A. or associate degree in nursing
• Must be licensed as a registered nurse
• At least one year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting preferred
• Commitment to the rights and ability of each person with severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences; work in market jobs; and have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services.
• Skills and competence to establish trusting relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illness and respect for clients’ rights and personal preferences in treatment are essential.
• The ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in a team environment is essential.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state in which the team operates.
