Job summary

CASES in Bronx, NY is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide medication management, health assessments, counseling, and psychoeducation for adults with serious mental illness. The role emphasizes community-based care within ACT principles and regulatory guidelines.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexible workplace options and a comprehensive benefits package. A NY RN license and relevant clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New York state.
• Minimum of three years of experience with adults in psychiatric or related settings.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.
• Proficient in computer use and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide at least 80% of medication management and health services in the community.
• Complete and sign progress notes, nursing assessments, and incident reports per OMH/DOHMH and Medicaid guidelines.
• Coordinate with prescriber and LPN on medication management and schedules.
• Provide directions to LPN on medication management and health education services.
• Coordinate care with families, hospitals, housing providers, and other service providers.
