Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers is seeking a Job Coach to support special education students in work, educational, and residential settings at the Walpole, MA location. You will collaborate with the educational team and community partners to help students develop work skills and navigate community settings.

You will provide on-site and community supports, supervise students in employment training, and model professional conduct while maintaining safety and effective communication with teachers,

Qualifications

Experience working with students receiving special education services with a wide range of disabilities including cognitive, social, emotional and behavioral deficits.
Ability to work confidently and effectively.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and community-based supports to students in various settings.
Direct supervision and monitoring of students to ensure safety and well-being.
Model appropriate work maturity skills and reinforce expectations.
Monitor work performance and provide timely feedback and prompts.
Ensure safety in the work environment and coordinate with staff and employers.
