Job summary

League School for Autism is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to support residential students in after-school community work internships in Walpole, MA. This newly developed role will help shape best practices for student employment, working independently with limited supervision and coordinating with internship supervisors, residential staff, families, and school staff.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree or related training (strongly preferred), CPR/Safety Care/First Aid certifications, and

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or specialized training in a related field or experience with autistic individuals preferred.
• CPR, Safety Care and First Aid certifications provided by League School.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must pass rigorous background checks including fingerprint screening.

Responsibilities

• Implement lessons and tasks per IEP in classroom and community settings.
• Drive League School vehicles to community job sites.
• Supervise students at community sites and provide job coaching.
• Interface between community employers and League School’s Vocational Services Coordinator.
• Record data on student performance related to IEP goals.
• Build therapeutic relationships with students and maintain appropriate boundaries.
