Job summary

Miriam’s Kitchen in Washington, DC seeks a PSH Case Manager to provide community-based support for up to 18 residents recently housed. You will guide housing identification, ongoing support, and coordination between residents, landlords, and service providers.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master’s in a related field and a year of case management experience. Spanish preferred; valid driver’s license is a plus, with a strong commitment to ending chronic homelessness in DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree as described; internships count as qualifying experience.
• Enthusiastic about Housing First approach.
• Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to pass background checks and work in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusting relationships with PSH residents and co-create goals.
• Provide outreach, case management, and crisis support in the community and home.
• Meet monthly contact targets including home visits.
• Support residents’ wellness, independence and income goals.
• Liaise with landlords and service providers to ensure quality service.
• Maintain records and ensure confidentiality of resident information.
