Job summary

Youth Villages in Memphis is seeking a SWITCH Clinical Specialist to engage adults aged 19 to 30 who are at high risk of gun violence. You will develop and monitor intensive, individualized treatment plans and provide direct clinical services to help participants progress in their goals.

You will deliver individual and group therapy, collaborate with a Life Coach, and work within a multidisciplinary team to address challenges and connect participants with community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline required.
• Master's degree in a social services discipline preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 20 to 24 adults and meets with each participant weekly.
• Facilitates daily group sessions on trauma and stress management with a Life Coach.
• Provides treatment at a designated community site.
• Develops and reviews individualized treatment plans regularly.
• Provides on-call crisis support to adults; schedule varies by location.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and booster training.
• Documents accurately in an EMR system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
