Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Specialist to support adults with special needs. This role requires expertise in designing and revising behavior support plans and conducting FBAs to guide effective interventions.

The candidate will train staff and families on plan implementation, gather data for progress reports, and ensure compliance with licensing and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Completion of state training conducting and using an FBA, and Post Test Certification or willingness to complete during application process.
• Valid driver license and vehicle for services; clean driving record and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Observe participants in various settings and collaborate with family and team to develop and implement a positive behavior support plan.
• Complete functional behavioral assessments (FBA) evaluating presenting issues.
• Provide training on behavior support plan implementation to staff, participants, families, and caretakers.
• Complete required paperwork related to data collection, progress reporting, and annual planning material.
