Job summary

Midwest BankCentre is seeking a Banker to engage customers, promote banking products, and support branch goals. The role emphasizes consultative service, digital banking guidance, and accurate processing of transactions.

You will help customers open and maintain accounts, handle inquiries, and refer opportunities to partner teams while upholding federal banking regulations and a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least two years bank customer contact or retail sales experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technologically savvy with the ability to learn new systems and software.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings, as per business needs.

Responsibilities

• Promote products and services based on customer's needs with consultative advice.
• Understanding of digital systems and online/mobile banking setup and usage guidance.
• Teller transaction processing, balancing cash drawers, and account maintenance assistance.
• Inbound and outbound call handling to build relationships and identify opportunities.
• Referrals to business partners to meet customer financial needs.
• Assist team in achieving branch goals through sales and training participation.
• Adherence to federal banking regulations and bank policies.
