Job summary

Midwest BankCentre is seeking an customer-focused banker to engage clients, promote banking solutions, and maintain accounts. The role includes assisting with consumer loan applications, teller transactions, and digital banking support.

You will work with a team to achieve branch goals, handle inquiries, and refer opportunities to banking partners, while adhering to federal regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• A minimum of two years bank customer contact or retail sales experience preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage clients effectively
• Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings, as per business needs

Responsibilities

• Promote products and services based on customer's needs and provide consultative advice
• Understand digital banking systems and assist customers with online/mobile banking setup and usage
• Assist with teller transactions and account maintenance including consumer loan applications and closings
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to build relationships and identify opportunities
• Refer customers to business partners to meet financial needs within Midwest BankCentre
• Support team in achieving branch goals through participation in training and meetings
