Job summary

First Federal Bank in Jacksonville seeks a Community Banking Development Officer to grow consumer and business relationships through proactive outside sales, community engagement, and consultative financial conversations. You will build deposits, deepen client relationships, and generate referrals for mortgage, consumer lending, commercial lending, treasury management, and other services.

The role requires strong communication and the ability to work with local businesses and community partners

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in outside sales or related client-facing financial services.
• Ability to develop referral sources and centers of influence.
• Ability to identify client needs and recommend banking solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients and partners.
• Proficiency with MS Office and client relationship tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
• Conduct consultative conversations to identify banking needs.
• Generate deposit relationships and referrals for mortgage and lending.
• Represent the bank at community events to expand referrals.
• Maintain records of sales activity and pipeline progress.
• Coordinate with branch leadership to ensure onboarding and client experience.
