Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a De Novo Financial Center Manager in Mount Pleasant, SC. You will lead a team, build a local customer base, and drive financial center growth through community engagement and strategic partnerships.

You will coach staff in consultative sales, oversee operations, and ensure excellent customer experiences while delivering a robust book of business. The role requires strong leadership, credit awareness, and a commitment to the bank's risk and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• College degree or two+ years of leadership experience in a sales environment preferred.
• Experience in financial industry and managing a P&L preferred.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication.
• Capable of analyzing credit and financial information.
• Ability to successfully execute and coach sales activities.
• Demonstrated business acumen with focus on growing new business.
• Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment via NMLS required.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage local chambers and community groups to represent Fifth Third Bank and build a robust customer base.
• Develop a local business plan with centers of influence and measure partnership strength.
• Provide customer services for businesses and the community, including needs assessment and satisfaction evaluation.
• Lead activities that benefit the community and use consultative sales to identify and meet financial needs.
• Grow Consumer and Small Business relationships through memorable customer experiences.
• Maintain knowledge of Fifth Third products and resources to guide the team and drive Next Gen experiences.
• Deliver an integrated book of business strategy with Financial Needs Assessments for all customers.
• Source, coach, and lead a team aligning with Core Values and business strategies.
• Foster a One Bank culture and collaborate with business partners.
