Rockland Trust in New Hampshire is seeking a Banker for its Retail Branch to deliver exceptional customer service and professional financial guidance. You will address customer needs, open and process a variety of accounts, and help deepen relationships in the community.

With a sales-focused mindset, you will proactively cross-sell products, support daily transactions, and participate in training to build banking skills. This role emphasizes community involvement and customer-centric solutions.

Qualifications

• Two year degree or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum 1 year sales experience in financial/retail.
• Notary Public and NMLS certification required or ability to obtain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support customer relationship development and transaction processing to meet sales and service goals.
• Open and process accounts (deposits, loans) and balance cash drawer within guidelines.
• Cross-sell bank products and services to existing and new customers using provided tools.
• Make referrals to business partners in investments, mortgage, cash management, etc.
• Complete Home Equity application process with customers and follow up on requirements.
• Achieve individual/team sales goals; participate in promotions.
• Use needs-based consultative approach to recommend products.
• Answer routine and complex questions about accounts, products, policies; provide resolution.
