Job summary

First Interstate Bank Beatrice seeks a Community Banker to deliver personalized client service and maintain client relationships. The role focuses on understanding client needs and offering appropriate banking solutions at the Beatrice, NE branch.

You will open and manage a variety of accounts, conduct financial conversations, and refer clients to mortgage, wealth, and business banking services as needed. Strong communication and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; mortgage license preferred or able to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience in banking or related fields is expected; ability to manage personal client relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality; proficient with basic software and CRMs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized client service in person and by phone, solve issues, and offer solutions.
• Open and maintain accounts, including checking, savings, IRAs, CDs, and credit products.
• Engage clients to determine needs and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Process loan requests and discuss small business lending opportunities when relevant.
• Identify referral opportunities across lines of business and document activity in CRM.
• Perform teller duties as needed and handle cash transactions accurately.
