Job summary

Leland Management, a full-service community association management company, seeks an onsite Community Association Manager for a Clermont, FL area community. The role requires managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with boards and vendors, and ensuring compliant governance under Florida statutes.

Regular hours are Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with occasional weekends and evenings, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Florida Licensed Community Association Manager (CAM).
  • 2+ years of work experience in Association Management with people and project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida Statute 718 (Condominium Law) and governance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and experience with financial reports and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site inspections and covenant enforcement.
  • Assist boards with day-to-day management of associations.
  • Prepare for and conduct association meetings; review financial reports and budgets.
  • Manage projects, service bids and oversee contractors.

Join our Team! Leland Management is seeking an onsite Community Association Manager for one of our communities in the Clermont, FL area. The position is full-time (Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm with occasional weekends and evenings) with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Applicants should have experience with site inspections, covenant enforcement, assisting boards with day-to-day aspects of managing an association, preparing for and conducting association meetings, reviewing financial reports, preparing budgets, project management, preparing service bids and overseeing contractors. Applicants must also be knowledgeable with Florida Statutes and be proficient with understanding and executing the requirements of the governing documents of an association.

Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience in Association Software such as Caliber is helpful.

Community Association Managers are responsible for the management and day-to-day implementation of the procedures and programs that will ensure well-managed and maintained property. Leland CAM's place the highest emphasis on positive response to the concerns and needs of Association Board Members and Homeowners.

Ability to work with a team. Leland managers are supported by a large team of accounting, administrative, mailroom, architectural review and other support staff. The ability to communicate with the team is essential.

Operations Management: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all aspects of the either an on-site or portfolio of communities to ensure excellent service.

Property Maintenance: Solicit bids, provide comparisons, and monitor all maintenance programs relating to the property and aesthetic appearance of the property, building strong relationships with vendors.

Owner Representation: The sole and ultimate liaison for all resolutions of the property, utilizing sound business judgment to resolve issues and conflicts.

Communication: Manages individual account information with the utmost confidentiality, communicating professionally both oral and written information effectively.

Develop and monitor property budgets on a timely basis in a manner that supports the financial expectations of the Board and Association.

Coordinates, negotiates and issues vendor contracts for property services in accordance with the management agreement.

Prepares a monthly board package to the Board of Directors consisting of a management report outlining actions required, proposals, correspondence and financial reporting.

Daily use of company software (Caliber), Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel documents for communication, organization and detailed follow-through.

Additional Required Qualifications:
  • MUST be a Florida Licensed Community Association Manager
  • Experience in an environment requiring high levels of customer service, highly motivated and confident professional, excellent written\\verbal communication skills, detail oriented, proven leadership, problem solving skills, competent in Excel, Word, Outlook and experience with financial reports and budgets.
  • 2+ years' work experience in Association Management with prior people and project management experience with condominiums, apartments, hotels, time-shares, developer, townhomes or homeowner's associations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Florida Statute 718 (Condominium Law), including compliance, governance, and operational requirements for condominium associations.
Preferred
  • Experience managing RV resorts or lifestyle-driven residential communities.
  • Knowledge of hospitality or resort operations, with an emphasis on resident and guest experience, amenity management, and service standards.
