Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Community Association Manager at Makena Golf & Beach Club on Maui, HI. The CAM will manage and oversee assigned associations, coordinating with Boards, homeowners, and vendors to ensure governance, budgets, and strategic goals are met.

The role requires collaboration across communities, including frequent travel to Kauai. A bachelor’s degree and CAM/CMCA/AMS/PCAM certification are preferred, with 3–5+ years of related experience and strong financial acumen.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of community association or property management experience.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison to Board, homeowners, and committees for Makena Golf & Beach Club and North Shore Preserve.
• Prepare and deliver Board meeting agendas, reports, and packages on time.
• Attend Board and annual meetings and provide proactive guidance on operations and finances.
• Monitor financial health: assessments, delinquencies, variances, and budgets.
• Oversee vendor relationships including procurement and contracts; support capital planning.
