Job summary

VIS Group is seeking a Community Association Manager in the Puget Sound area. The role oversees 8-15 homeowner/condo associations, working with an Assistant Manager to handle operations, finances, and governance.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of HOA experience, strong communication, budgeting skills, and a solid tech background. Location is Bellevue or Lacey, WA, with a 40-hour work week and Salary DOE.

Responsibilities

• Prepares annual budget for the association.
• Monitors accounts receivable and recommends collections.
• Ensures timely payment of expenses.
• Initiates and reviews annual reserve studies.
• Ensures work orders and repairs are completed.
• Manages contracts and vendor relations; solicits bids when needed.

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an individual with 2 years of experience in the field of community association management which involves managing homeowner and condominium associations. This individual should be very experienced in dealing with association board members and in building business relationships. Experienced in preparing association budgets and financial reporting, compliance, RCW's and a greater than average technology background is required. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

A Community Association Manager is responsible for administering the communications, operations, maintenance, and financial management of approximately 8-15 homeowner and/or condominium associations with the help of an Assistant Community Manager (depending on the size of the portfolio). Specifically, the Community Manager:

• Acts as an advisor to Board and Committee members


• Response in a timely manner to email and phone calls to board members and homeowners


• Prepares for, attends, and facilitates Board and all Association meetings


• Reviews and interprets governing documents


• Prepares the annual budget for the association


• Monitors association accounts receivable and makes recommendations for collection of past due accountsi>
  
• Ensures the timely payment of association expenses


• Initiates and reviews annual association reserve studies


• Ensures that association work orders and repairs are completed as required


• Contract management, monitors landscape and other vendor contracts


• Vendor management, obtains bids from contractors when needed.

Education
