Tailwind Group is seeking a part-time Community Assistant for The Landing Lawrence in Lawrence, Kansas. You will be the first contact for prospective residents, conduct tours, and support leasing goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
The role requires a minimum 12-hour shift window per week, with nights and weekends as needed. On-site position with commission potential and a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Part-time
The Community Assistant is primarily responsible for generating new leases and renewals through peer engagement, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting day to day office operations. This individual will act as the first point of contact for prospective residents, conduct tours, and represent the property both on and off campus. A successful Community Assistant will provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects, execute on day-to-day property operations, and support efforts to ensure the property meets or exceeds leasing and occupancy goals each year.
The Landing Lawrence is a garden-style student housing community in Lawrence, Kansas, designed to serve students attending the University of Kansas. The 192 unit, 720 bed community offers 3 and 4-bedroom units with amenities that include a resort-style swimming pool with hot tub, fitness center, dog park, and much more. The Landing provides team members with opportunities to develop and grow their careers while delivering an unmatched living experience for our residents.
This is a part-time position working a variable schedule, not to exceed 29.5 hours per week. Rotating nights and weekends are required and may vary based on property needs.
The compensation rate for this position is $12.00 per hour plus commission potential. This rate is determined by current market data based on the position requirements and complexities.
This role is based fully in-office and requires onsite presence. Must be available to consistently work a minimum of 12 hours per week between 9:00am – 6:00pm. Weekday and weekend shifts will be required.
