Job summary

HTU in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to deliver exceptional service to residents, prospective residents, and guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and clear campus policies.

You will assist with inquiries, support leasing and marketing efforts, develop community events, handle resident records and room assignments, promote safety, and collaborate with staff and Resident Directors to keep operations smooth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective residents, and guests.

  • Develop community activities and events to foster engagement.
  • Perform administrative duties: resident records, room assignments, communications.
  • Promote safety by enforcing policies, reporting issues, and assisting with emergencies.
  • Collaborate with staff and Resident Directors for smooth operations.
  • Participate in the turn process and other duties as assigned.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective residents, and guests, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Assist residents with inquiries, concerns, and requests, serving as a knowledgeable resource on community policies and campus services.
  • Participate actively in leasing and marketing efforts, including outreach, social media strategy, tours, and handling inquiries.
  • Develop and implement community activities and events to foster engagement and social connections.
  • Perform administrative duties such as managing resident records, coordinating room assignments, and maintaining communication channels.
  • Promote safety by enforcing community policies, reporting maintenance and safety issues, and assisting with emergency protocols.
  • Collaborate with staff and support Resident Directors to ensure smooth community operations.
  • Participate in the “turn” process and other responsibilities as assigned based on community needs.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation at $15.05 per hour.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Frequently required to stand and walk; continually required to sit, use hand and finger dexterity, talk, and hear.
  • Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
  • Noise level is usually moderate.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
