ACFA - The Advice Network is looking for advisers to provide practical assistance and advice to community members across various topics. You will utilize your empathetic, person-centered approach while maintaining strong organisational and numeracy skills.
The role offers a hybrid working model and includes a trainee salary of £26,394, with potential progression to a qualified adviser role at £28,001 per year, pro-rata for part-time personnel.
We’re recruiting Advisers and as the job title suggests you’d be in the community (and on the phone), providing advice and hands‑on practical assistance to people across the range of advice topics.
The development pathway for this role leads to becoming a qualified adviser with the scope to progress to caseworker level.
You will be empathetic and take a person‑centred approach to your work, adapting to the needs of each individual client.
You will have the ability to understand written and oral information of some complexity; have good numeracy skills (sufficient to compile accurate financial statements and calculate benefits) and be confident using IT and cloud‑based systems.
You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi‑service team.
We will provide training so you gain the knowledge needed to excel in this role.
