Job summary

Vinfen in Hyannis, MA seeks a PACT Addictions Specialist to provide treatment, rehabilitation and support for adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental illness. You will lead intervention design and relapse prevention plans, working under the Team Leader's supervision.

Using motivational interviewing and a strengths-based approach, you will help clients engage in recovery, evaluate life circumstances, and plan for hopeful futures within a community-based program.

Qualifications

• CADAC, LADAC I or II certification in the state of service.
• Three to five years supervised practical experience with persons who have psychiatric disabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a human service discipline preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong time management, writing and organizational skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid US driver's license for at least 6 months, access to a reliable vehicle, and ability to pass background checks.
• MAP certification and CPR/First Aid certification within specified timelines.

Responsibilities
