Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. in Orange Park, FL, is seeking an Activity Leader II to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Club Challenge.

This part-time role focuses on person-centered planning, community activities, and daily living skills. You will help members set goals, participate in outings, document progress, and collaborate with staff while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and a positive, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• Must pass local and Level 2 background screening.
• Must communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and all required trainings.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate person-centered planning with members, staff, and community partners.
• Support members in developing personal goals related to employment, social participation, recreation, daily living skills, and self-advocacy.
• Provide supervision and support in collaboration with community professionals.
• Promote member choice, independence, dignity, and meaningful participation in activities.
• Provide training to strengthen daily living and social skills and self-advocacy.
• Plan and facilitate community outings based on member interests and goals.
• Build natural supports and promote safe social integration with the community.
• Assist with recruiting efforts for Club Challenge members.
