Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Life Skills Specialist to support adults with intellectual and developmental differences in Green Cove Springs, FL.

This part-time role (up to 29 hours/week) focuses on teaching daily living, social, and community-based skills through person-centered support, with emphasis on independence and community integration. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean 3-year driving record.
• Must complete background screening and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Commitment to confidentiality and non-disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Teach and reinforce daily living, social, and community skills.
• Support participants in building independence through choice and inclusion.
• Facilitate person-centered planning with participants and families.
• Document outcomes and activities using Therap system.
• Transport participants safely to scheduled locations using agency vehicles.
• Collaborate with families, Support Coordinators, and partners.
