Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a social or recreational program.
• Must possess effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, creative, caring, able to work under stress.
• Must be able to plan, implement and evaluate an ongoing activity program.
• Must be able to order and maintain the supplies necessary to support the activity program.
• Must be able to work within a budget.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, schedule, coordinate and implement all activities, programs and events with integrity.
• Recruit, hire, schedule and evaluate instructors for social, educational and fitness classes.
• Coordinate communications with resident clubs and volunteer chairpersons.
• Develop and publish monthly activity calendars and newsletters.
• Oversee budget and ensure accountability for activity funds.
• Supervise events on-site, including setup and logistics for rooms, equipment and transportation.
