Job summary

KW Property Management and Consulting is seeking an Events Coordinator to lead resident activities and coordinate social events. You will work closely with residents, vendors, and staff to ensure engaging programs that reflect a high level of service and professionalism.

The role requires planning, budgeting, and strong communication skills; it involves evenings, weekends, and holidays as events occur. A minimum of two years in event planning is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a related position.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a social event or event planning.
• Must possess effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, creative, caring, able to work under stress.
• Must be able to plan, implement and evaluate an ongoing events program.
• Must be able to work within a budget.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, schedule, coordinate and implement all activities, programs and special events with high integrity.
• Coordinate league play for Tennis, Bocce Ball, Basketball, Pickleball and other activities; manage vendors, supplies and payments.
• Recruit, hire, schedule and evaluate instructors for social, educational, fitness classes; verify licenses and insurance; manage fees.
• Communicate with volunteers and clubs (Mah Jong, Bridge, Art, Photography).
• Coordinate tours/trips off property for residents; build participation in events.
• Set up meeting rooms and maintain calendars; manage registration lists; assist with communications.
