Typical Day in the Role:

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is manage internal communication and engagement initiatives.

Key projects: This role will contribute in assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing.

• Reporting to stakeholders and the VP of Supply Chain
• Handle executive communications, such as newsletters
• Drive employee engagement, branding, and recognition programs.
• Develop and execute a communication plan for the rest of the year.
• Support global communication strategies to ensure alignment across time zones.

Top 3 Must Have Skills:

• Experience working in a global team (handling diverse time zones and audiences)
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Teams and Viva Engage) and AI experience for automating or standardizing communication processes.

Summary:

The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information

• Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging

• Track team recognition, ensuring robust forms of acknowledging employee achievements.

• Works closely with Client's Product corporate supply chain team to write and finalize monthly and annual newsletters.

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

• Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

• Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
