Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Communications Specialist for a 6-month contract with potential to extend, to support cross‑LOB brand planning and insights for a leading financial services client in the Richmond/McLean area.

The role is hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) with compensation in the $66,500–$95,000 range and a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, ESOP, and 401(k).

Job Summary

Our client, a leading Financial Services provider, is seeking a Communications Specialist to join their team!

Contract Details

• Contract type and duration: 6 month contract - Potential to extend

Work Location

• Richmond VA, or McLean, VA
• Onsite, hybrid or remote expectations: Hybrid 3-2

Core Responsibilities

• Support the cross Lines of Business (xLOB) Brand Planning and Insights leads to help deliver and project manage xLOB research learning agenda that informs marketing planning and activation
• Help connect dots across strategic objectives and implications for all LOBs and audiences to identify the knowledge gaps that need solving
• Support the LOB Brand Planning & Insights teams to enable leaders to assess progress towards marketing goals and prioritize future investments
• Facilitate the collection of project intent and learning agenda deliverables to write project and research briefs
• Provide strategic thinking and strong communication to contextualized storytelling to peers, partners and leadership that influences outcomes
• Develop strong working relationships with key Brand department partners, operating from a position of deeply understanding their goals and objectives
• Support Brand Planning team in strategic operations to drive partner clarity and implement consistent, standardized planning processes and transparent program infrastructure across all LOBs
• Support project delivery and ensure processes are well-managed and standardized for consistency

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $66,500.00 and $95,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
