The City of Lexington seeks a Communications Specialist to support digital communications, including the intranet, website and social media, and to coordinate public and internal communications. You will build relationships with public officials, partner agencies, the media and the community, and help raise awareness of programs and events through timely, accurate communications.

The Communications Specialist performs professional and administrative work to prepare, coordinate and maintain City digital communications including intranet, website and social media; internal, public and community relations communications; and public awareness of programs and events. Establishes and maintains professional relations with public officials, partner agencies, public, and news media.

Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Overtime as needed.
