The City of Lexington is seeking a Communications Specialist to manage professional and administrative work to prepare, coordinate and maintain City digital communications including intranet, website and social media, as well as internal and public relations communications.

The Communications Specialist performs professional and administrative work to prepare, coordinate and maintain City digital communications including intranet, website and social media; internal, public and community relations communications; and public awareness of programs and events. Establishes and maintains professional relations with public officials, partner agencies, public, and news media.

  • Valid NC driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Overtime as needed.

Position is Open until September 30th at 11:59pm.
