Job summary

NewSpring Church is seeking a full-time Communications Project Manager to drive church-wide campaigns from concept to post-launch review. You will develop project plans, timelines and budgets, schedule team meetings, and ensure assets align with brand standards and stakeholder expectations.

This role requires coordinating with other PMs and adhering to church policies, with a 40-hour weekly schedule. Experience in project management and a communications degree are preferred to ensure effective

Role Description

This role serves as the operational engine of the Communications Team. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from concept through review, delivery, and post-launch evaluation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee communication projects from the initiating phase through review, delivery, and the closing phase.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for large-scale, church wide campaigns and communication projects.
• Schedule and lead all project-related meetings for the Communications Team.
• Work within the project management system to keep all projects organized and built out.
• Advocate for the Communications Team by protecting the team's margin and capacity by establishing scope and realistic timelines before work begins.
• Advocate for the ministry and campus project's stakeholders to help the Communications Team meet the goals set by the stakeholders for each project.
• Verify all assets meet brand voice standards and uphold the vision of NewSpring Church, and have passed through any proofing and approvals necessary prior to delivery.
• Track desired outcomes set for each project to evaluate and report on the success of the project.
• Work alongside other project managers to see all projects and campaigns to completion.
• Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.

Role Requirements

• This role is full time 40 hours per week.
• A communications degree and experience in project management is preferred.
• This role adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs. Standard schedule is:
  • Sunday: 8:15am to 1pm (remaining hours - equal to 40 hours total - offsite)
  • Monday: 9am to 5pm
  • Tuesday: 9am to 5pm
  • Wednesday: 9am to 5pm
  • Thursday: 9am to 5pm
