Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Communications Operator to be the central point of contact for staff, patients, and callers. You will manage calls, paging, and message relay, ensuring smooth hospital communications and timely emergency coordination.

The role requires strong verbal communication, multitasking, and attention to detail, with familiarity in medical terminology and hospital operations being a plus. Nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service or communications experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and a clear phone voice.
• Ability to multitask and work in high-pressure environments.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital operations is a plus.
• Experience operating hospital communication systems (phone, radio, paging).

Responsibilities

• Answer and route all incoming calls to the appropriate department or individual.
