Job summary

CalvertHealth is seeking a courteous hospital receptionist to manage caller needs, transfer calls to the appropriate departments, and relay messages promptly. You will uphold privacy, provide accurate information, and support physicians and staff by maintaining clear communication during daily operations.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–6 months related experience, and willingness to work weekends and overnights as needed to maintain 24/7 coverage.

Professionally and promptly answers incoming calls; transfers callers as appropriate; answers questions from callers in accordance with established hospital policy. Takes and relays messages. Receives calls from caller/patient in professional and courteous manner, and relates to physician complete and accurate information pertaining to the call received.
