We are seeking a dynamic Communications Manager at the Assistant Director level to join our EY Americas Industry Group team. The successful candidate will develop and implement internal communications and engagement strategies for the TMT Industry Group, covering Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications sectors. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing complex projects. Your expertise will foster internal collaboration, enhance our market presence, and support business objectives. Your Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and manage scope and schedules for moderate to complex internal communication projects.
- Plan and allocate resources for tasks and deliverables, managing projects based on established plans.
- Collaborate with the Industry Group Communications Leader to develop communication plans aligned with strategic objectives and initiatives.
- Use experience, insight, and creativity to influence stakeholders and consider innovative solutions.
- Anticipate project ramifications and present alternatives when obstacles arise.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders and managing expectations.
- Ability to craft strategic, targeted, and impactful communications across various channels (webcasts, videos, newsletters, meetings, presentations, emails, intranet, etc.).
- Understanding of environmental factors affecting the firm and markets.
- Excellent written and oral communication, including delivering compelling presentations.
- Proven teamwork and leadership skills, with experience in cross-team collaboration and sharing best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Eight or more years of experience in communications, branding, or marketing.
- Project management and internal communications experience.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpretation skills.
- Ability to articulate complex topics clearly for broad audiences.
- Leadership skills with a focus on developing others.
- Poise and confidence to interact professionally with all levels of leadership.
- Strong project and time management skills.
