Communications Manager – Executive Office (Remote)

Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Overview

Our team is looking for a highly skilled Communications Manager to support executive‑level storytelling, organizational clarity, and internal communications for a large, fast‑moving technology organization. In this role, you’ll be the connective “glue” that enables leaders and teams to stay aligned, informed, and engaged. You’ll have the opportunity to drive communication strategy, build compelling narratives, and operationalize a communication rhythm that supports transparency, clarity, and strong execution.

This position is ideal for someone who can move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery—someone who thrives in complex environments, asks great questions, and brings structure and clarity to ambiguity.

What You’ll Do

• Develop clear, concise narratives that articulate organizational strategy, priorities, and progress for internal audiences.
• Partner closely with executives and senior leaders to create messaging, talking points, presentations, blogs, and event materials.
• Manage the executive communication cadence, including speechwriting, briefing materials, and follow‑up communications.
• Build and execute integrated communication plans that support leadership priorities, organizational changes, and key moments.
• Create storytelling frameworks that reinforce clarity, alignment, and consistent messaging across teams.
• Own end‑to‑end content development — from ideation and drafting through publishing and engagement tracking.
• Manage internal communication channels including newsletters, intranet content, collaboration platforms, and digital communities.
• Develop and maintain an editorial calendar that aligns with milestones, organizational initiatives, and executive priorities.
• Lead the communications rhythm of business (ROB) — planning, stakeholder alignment, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Partner cross‑functionally with product, engineering, operations, HR, marketing, and events teams to ensure unified messaging.
• Analyze communication effectiveness and continuously improve based on insights, feedback, and data.
• Drive operational excellence across communications workflows, systems, and processes.

What You’ll Have

• 7–10+ years of experience in communications, executive communications, internal communications, or related roles in enterprise or tech environments.
• Proven experience crafting content for senior leaders and delivering high‑impact messaging.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills — able to simplify complex concepts and communicate with clarity.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills; able to operate autonomously and manage multiple workstreams.
• Experience developing communication plans and managing internal communication channels.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, quickly adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver in fast‑paced environments.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive with strong collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with enterprise collaboration tools (e.g., intranet platforms, Teams‑style tools, SharePoint‑style systems, and publishing tools).
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred.

Compensation: Prime 8 uses different pay ranges based on level of position, relevant experience, and specific candidate location. The pay range for this role is between $55 and $60 per hour (based on full‑time employment), plus employee benefits.
