Job summary

CCMC is seeking a communications professional to lead planning, creation and distribution of community communications for residents, staff and the Board. You will maintain brand standards, manage content across the magazine, website, newsletters and social media, and guide major initiatives with analytics-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with volunteers and the Board, supervise staff, and contribute to a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of professional experience in communications, public relations or related fields.
  • Proven written and oral communication abilities.
  • Experience presenting and managing projects.
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Leadership experience and staff supervision.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, edit, design, produce and distribute communications for residents, internal teams, Board and partners.
  • Maintain community brand standards and act as staff liaison to the Communications Committee.
  • Create content for monthly magazine, website, newsletters and social media.
  • Develop and manage communications plans for major initiatives.
  • Make strategic decisions based on website analytics and surveys.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed.

Job description

What you’ll accomplish:
  • The position is responsible for planning, creating, editing, designing, producing, and distributing all means of communication for the residents, internal team members, and the Board of Directors and community partners
  • Achieving and managing effective communication between the Homeowners Association, Community Lifestyle, residents and the broader community
  • Communications strategic planning
  • Maintain community brand standards
  • Serve as staff liaison to Communications Committee.
  • Creating content and managing community communications – monthly magazine, website, newsletters, promotional materials, social media accounts, etc.
  • Create and manage communications plans for major initiatives, projects and programs that affect the community
  • Make strategic communications decisions based on website and social media analytics and survey results
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties
What we’re looking for:
  • Be self-motivated and able to work effectively with a resident board and committee members, as well as volunteers
  • Have 4-5 years of professional experience in communications, public relations or other related experience
  • Possess effective written and oral communication
  • Have presentation and project management skills
  • Experience working in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or related design programs
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Experience supervising and developing employees
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors
  • Experience or working knowledge of Homeowners Associations is a plus
  • All prospective employees must pass a background and drug screening

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:

  • Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
