Job summary

Arista Advanced Pet Care Hospital in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Communication Liaison to act as the human touch and organizational hub in a high-stress veterinary setting.

You will manage client communications, coordinate with front and back-of-house teams, and advocate for patients while helping to refine protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the hospital team's ability to work efficiently by managing the flow of basic communication across channels.
• Communicate client needs and concerns from front of house to back of house and vice versa.
• Develop and refine communication protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency with the Care Navigation Team.
• Act as the client advocate, ensuring questions are answered with compassionate care by the Arista Advanced Pet Care Hospital voice.

The Communication Liaison is a critical role in ensuring patient and client advocacy while coordinating with internal Team Members for the best possible outcomes for pets. In essence, you will be the "human touch" and organizational hub, ensuring clarity and compassion in high-stress veterinary environments.

A Day in the Life

• Client Communication: Facilitate the hospital team'sability to work as efficiently as possible with minimal interruption by managing the flow of basic communication,including updates and information flow through the appropriate channels
• Internal Coordination: Communicating client needs and concerns from "front of house" to "back of house" and vice versa
• Process Improvement: Developing and refining communication protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency. Work closely with the Care Navigation Team to ensure a streamlined, well-organized, and comfortable experience for each client and their pet
• Patient Advocacy: Acting as the client's advocate, ensuring their questions are answered, and care is compassionate by being the friendly and professional voice of Arista Advanced Pet Care Hospital

• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated for an efficient working style
• Ability to work in-person nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to meet any position-specific screening requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire
