Rapid7 is seeking a Marketing Specialist for Communications & Events to coordinate and execute high-visibility programs. You will work with the SVP of Global Marketing and Growth to support executive communications, customer events, and industry moments.

You will draft materials, manage event logistics, and collaborate across marketing, sales, product, and agencies to deliver impactful campaigns that elevate brand visibility and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience through full-time work, internships, or related programs.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with attention to tone and detail.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines without losing track.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications and events from kickoff to completion with timelines and approvals.
• Draft and edit internal announcements, executive communications, event invites, and talking points.
• Support public relations programs by coordinating agency requests, media materials, and coverage reporting.
• Assist in executing customer, industry, employee, and executive events, including speaker coordination and vendor logistics.
• Maintain communications calendars, event trackers, and shared files to provide clear priority visibility.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and external agencies to gather inputs and move deliverables forward.
• Capture outcomes, feedback, and follow-up actions to improve future communications and events.
