Job summary

Girls on the Run Greater Oregon is hiring a Communications and Development Coordinator to support storytelling and fundraising efforts across digital, print, and in-person channels. Working under the Development Director, you will help grow community support and ensure program access, collaborating with a six-person team.

You will manage marketing for programs and events, coordinate grant activities, and help engage volunteers, families, and partners to advance GOTRGO's mission.

Qualifications

• Passion for Girls on the Run mission and the ability to communicate empowerment and whole-person health.
• Outstanding communication skills in multiple environments with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience with project management.
• Experience developing content and managing social media and peer-to-peer fundraisers preferred.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing of GOTRGO programs, 5Ks, and fundraising events.
• Manage social media to engage stakeholders and maintain a positive image.
• Design print and digital materials including flyers and sponsorship packets.
• Maintain media assets archive and website with current data and photos.
• Collaborate with staff to communicate with coaches, site liaisons, parents, and stakeholders.
• Assist with grant proposals and annual giving campaigns.
• Support partnerships with Run Clubs and community serving organizations.
• Attend and staff events like Spring/Fall 5Ks and coach trainings.
