Director of Client Relations at The Ford Agency

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Communications Associate to join a unique DC non-profit that serves to protect and preserve historic landmarks across the nation. This individual will work to bring awareness to the organization's mission and programs through various marketing strategies. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for US history who values the impact of print media as much as digital to join a collaborative and mission driven team of professionals!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Generate digital and print content to bring awareness to the organization
  • Write and edit articles, brochures, and leaflets about activities and programs
  • Manage external advertising calendar
  • Create graphic and advertising content

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Advertising
  • Passion for promoting historical sites and an appreciation for the value of history
  • 2+ years of marketing and communications, experience with campus print publication a plus
  • Experience focused on earned media and building intentional media relationships
  • Knowledge of Drupal CMS and Microsoft Office

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
