Job description

COMMUNICATIONS APPLICATIONS ANALYST, MIT Admissions and Student Financial Services, to provide systems support and technical guidance to the Communications + Special Projects team. Reports to the Director of Communications and Special Projects and works closely with the Admissions Operations team to support the execution of digital and print campaigns through various business processes in Technolutions Slate. Provides backup support on Deliver, Slates outbound email system; processes and cleans data used for digital and print campaigns; serves as an internal technical consultant, optimizing system configurations, writing scripts to streamline work, and editing code on websites and other platforms; assists in evaluating the technical components of new systems and provides advice to the Director on projects implemented by external agencies. Works closely with the Associate Director of Communications and the Associate Director of Admissions Operations and translates effectively among communications, operational, and technical needs. May liaise with student computing groups on discrete projects.
