Aspen-of-Dc-Inc is seeking an experienced Program Analyst in the United States to support the Communications/Media team. You will assist with planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of communications projects and campaigns, translating objectives into effective communications products.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-directed, able to manage multiple assignments with limited supervision, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience applying analytical methodologies to client or organizational needs.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and own assignments from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning, coordination, and implementation of communications and media initiatives.
  • Apply analytical methodologies to evaluate objectives, needs, and performance.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and report data to support strategies.
  • Develop performance measurements and track campaign effectiveness.
  • Support development of social media and digital content.
  • Create and coordinate graphics, presentations, and digital assets.
  • Draft and edit communications materials (announcements, web content, reports).
  • Provide project management with schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with staff, vendors, and stakeholders to move projects forward.
  • Maintain project documentation and trackers.
  • Identify risks and communicate them proactively.
  • Work with senior analysts and leadership to support priorities.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff.
  • Perform other related duties.

The Program Analyst will support the client’s Communications/Media team by providing analytical, project management, communications, and creative support for departmental initiatives. This position is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of communications projects and campaigns.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-directed professional who can manage multiple assignments independently, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and translate project objectives into effective communications products. Experience with graphic design, digital communications, and social media is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of communications and media initiatives.
  • Apply analytical methodologies and techniques to evaluate project objectives, communications needs, and program performance.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and report data to support communications strategies and project objectives.
  • Develop performance measurements and assist with tracking the effectiveness of communications campaigns and initiatives.
  • Support the development and execution of social media and digital communications content.
  • Create, edit, and coordinate graphics, presentations, digital assets, and other visual communications materials.
  • Assist with drafting and editing communications materials, including announcements, web content, social media copy, presentations, reports, and other public- or employee-facing materials.
  • Provide project management support, including developing project schedules, tracking milestones and deliverables, coordinating assignments, and monitoring deadlines.
  • Coordinate with staff, project leads, vendors, and other stakeholders to obtain information and move projects through completion.
  • Conduct research, data collection, interviews, project testing, and other analytical activities in support of project objectives.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, trackers, and other records as required.
  • Identify project risks, outstanding action items, and dependencies and proactively communicate them to appropriate team members.
  • Manage multiple projects and assignments with limited supervision while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines.
  • Work closely with senior analysts, Task Leads, Project Managers, and leadership to support strategic priorities.
  • Provide direction and guidance to junior staff, as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties in support of the project team's objectives.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
  • An equivalent combination of academic and relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience applying analytical methodologies and principles to address client or organizational needs.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of assignments from initiation through completion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a communications, public affairs, media, marketing, or similar team.
  • Experience developing and managing social media content and campaigns.
  • Graphic design experience and proficiency with relevant design tools and platforms.
  • Experience creating presentations, digital graphics, communications collateral, and other visual materials.
  • Experience with communications analytics, performance measurement, and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience supporting government agencies or public-sector clients is a plus.
